Scents of gooey apricots, gently toasted oats, mild tobacco, and freshly arranged flowers, Cabral Compuesta is a spryly stroll through the forest of green and fruity splendor.

A rich and malty gaucho body is brought to life with wisps of star anise and cardamom spice gently melding with softer floral notes of three additional herbs that induce relaxation and calm. Not unlike a thick homemade vegetable stew, slowly bubbling to perfection by loving hands, the mate releases heartening energy that’s more grounding than uplifting.

The Brazilian common names of the additional are: Yerba carnicera, Congorosa, and Mburucuyá. Respectively, Canadian horseweed (Conyza canadensis), Espinheira Santa (Maytenus ilicifolia), and Passion flower (Passiflora caerulea). Medicinal herbs that have been shown to decrease stomach acid, relieve ulcers, aid digestions, and ease the nerves.

Malt, cherries, oats, creamy milk chocolate, Indian spice, dark espresso, honey, cinnamon, and raisins…. yup! this mate has verve and depth. With a long cycle and full body, it’s also got power. A stellar example of a mate that not only tasty, but also remarkably comforting.
